Crowded Camper may collect account email addresses, saved campground watches, date ranges, campsite preferences, optional home base information for drive estimates, email alert settings, and text alert settings.

How we use information

We use this information to run campsite availability checks, show saved watches, send requested email or text alerts, estimate drive times when requested, and improve the camping planning experience.

Email and text alerts

Text alerts are optional and are not required to create an account or use Crowded Camper. If you separately opt in to text alerts, Crowded Camper may send campsite availability alerts, setup confirmations, and account-related text messages to the phone number you provide. Message frequency varies based on your saved campground watches. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You can also turn off text alerts in your settings.

Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Advertising and cookies

Crowded Camper may display ads through Google AdSense or other advertising partners. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at Google's partner sites policy.

Third-party services

Crowded Camper may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, text delivery, maps, analytics, advertising, and campground availability data. Those providers process information only as needed to operate the service.
