Choose the campsite alert plan that gives your family the best shot

Crowded Camper is built to help families spend less time refreshing campground pages and more time getting ready for the trip. Pro is designed for the campers who need the fastest checks and the most backup options.

Why Pro exists

The hard part of family camping is not usually finding any campsite. It is finding the right campground, for the right dates, before someone else grabs the opening. Pro is the plan built around that reality: more active watches, the fastest Recreation.gov-style checks, and future SMS eligibility once text messaging verification is approved.

Crowded Camper still does not reserve campsites automatically. It helps your family know faster when a matching site appears so you can book through the official campground system.

Free

$0/month. One active campground search, email alerts, and the core watch dashboard. Free is best for trying Crowded Camper or watching one low-pressure campground.

Search speed: limited to every 5 minutes.

Starter

$5/month. Up to five active campground searches and email alerts. Starter is useful for one trip where you want to watch a favorite campground plus a few backup options.

Search speed: limited to every 5 minutes.

Pro - best for families who really want the trip

$10/month. Up to twenty-five active campground searches, email alerts, and the fastest available checks for Recreation.gov-style watches. This is the tier to use when the campground is popular, the dates matter, and you want multiple backup searches running at the same time.

Search speed: as fast as every 1 minute where supported.

Future benefit: SMS eligibility after Crowded Camper's text messaging verification is approved.

Tier comparison

Free: 1 active search, 5-minute checks, email alerts.

Starter: 5 active searches, 5-minute checks, email alerts.

Pro: 25 active searches, 1-minute checks where supported, email alerts, future SMS eligibility.

How billing will work

Crowded Camper plans will use Stripe subscriptions. Existing users can receive a 60-day Pro trial when subscriptions launch. Reservations still happen directly through Recreation.gov or the official campground booking service.
